Why Should I Vote? - Dr. Steve Nawara Answers

Dr. Steve Nawara, chair and professor of political science, answers, "Why I Should Go Out and Vote?" in a video blog for Voter Registration Day.


He is part of the , which encourages all students, faculty, and staff to participate in the democratic process by voting. 


Register to vote by October 20 to be eligible to vote in the Nov. 5 election. Visit  for assistance with voter registration.


Also, the Civic Engagement Committee is hosting voter registration tables on the Romeoville Campus for several weeks. Visit  to schedule a shift to help others register to vote at one of the registration areas.
