ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â History Center Presents at June 22 Fairmont Event

The ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â History Center’s “ banner exhibit will be on display from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Envision Fairmont: Updating the Fairmont Neighborhood Plan event June 22 at the Fairmont Community Center in Lockport, Ill.

Recent ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â Alumna Morgan Jennings will represent the ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â History Center at the event. The former history and theology student will be available to answer questions and share the stories ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â students discovered while researching the previously untold stories. From 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Jennings also will be distributing “African American Voices from Joliet’s Southend” booklets that were created from the exhibit.
