Superior Donuts,” written by Tracy Letts, will have performances on September 27-29 and October 3-4 at the Philip Lynch Theatre on ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â's Romeoville Campus.

The first weekend performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday. The second weekend performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday and Sunday. 

Ticket prices are $13 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â students pay $3 with an ID. The show runs for approximately 90 minutes and it is recommended for audiences aged 13 and older. 

Ticket purchases can be made online with a credit card on the PLT Website at . The box office will be open one hour before the performance. For more information, patrons can follow the Philip Lynch Theatre (PLT) on social media @pltlewisu. Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts weaves a heartwarming and humorous tale of unlikely friendships in one of Chicago’s most diverse neighborhoods. This comedy-drama explores the challenges of embracing the past and the redemptive power of friendship.

Superior Donuts’ cast features the following ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â students: Justin Cordero, Michael Goelz, Devin Kenebrew, Shiraz Khan, Rachel Hampton, Timothy McNeal, Sara Sei Barbour, Keegan Srebro, Justin McCarthy and Mukhabbat Fayzulbeva (understudy).

Brian Fruits-Esparza will direct Superior Donuts. Gabe Seeman, a ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â student, will serve as the Technical Director. Celeste Mackey will again serve as Costume Director. Amanda Miller, the Stage Manager, and Dave Pomatto (assistant technical director) are working behind the scenes. 

·     Fruits-Esparza holds an M.F.A. in Stage Direction from the University of Memphis and hails from Chicago. He also has a B.A. in Secondary Education from Concordia University of Chicago in River Forest. Fruits-Esparza is a full-time professor at .
